Eating Lunch with your Child at Noble

Noble loves having parents and other family members join their student for lunch!  The first few weeks are saved for getting familiar with routines, but on September 3rd, Noble Elementary is open to lunch time visitors!  You can bring food with you or just join your child.  You will sign in with your driver's license and walk to the cafeteria to wait for your child.  You will eat together on the stage at the designated round tables.  Have fun!

Nuts and Nut Butters

Yes, you can send nuts and nut butters.  LHISD allows peanuts and is considered an "allergy aware" district.

Allergies

If your child has an allergy, please make sure this is listed in skyward family access.  If you are unsure, please email our nurse at Noble Elementary, Desiree Dixon (ddixon@libertyhill.txed.net) or Nutrition Services (childnutrition@libertyhill.txed.net) for help.

My child left their lunch box at home, what do I do?

You can bring your child's lunch box up to Noble before their lunch time with a note attached to it (students name, teachers name, grade level) and the front office will make sure your child gets it.  If you are unable to bring their lunch box and they do not have money on their account, nutrition services will always feed your child.  All students have an account set up automatically when they are registered for school.  They will receive a full hot meal and the meal will be charged to their account.  The child's account can be in the negative up to $25, which equates to a full week of breakfast and lunch meals.  You can log in and pay the account after.

Negative Balances

A student is allowed to go negative up to $25, which is a full week of breakfast and lunches.  The cafeteria will not allow at any point charges for snacks, double portions or second meals.  The cafeteria sends out negative balance emails to families.  If a student has exceeded the negative balance maximum of $25, they are able to get a low cost alternative meal.  That meal will be either a sun butter and jelly sandwich or whatever the sandwich or wrap option is for that day.
