Boosterthon PTO Fundraiser
Kickoff Friday January 31, ending on Wednesday, February 12th with a Color Run
FAQs
What is Boosterthon?
Noble PTO joins together with Boosterthon to raise funds for Noble PTO (a 501c3), which goes right back to Noble Elementary. Our goal is to raise $105 per student, which is $80,000 total. Students ask their family and friends to make donation pledges online on their child's my booster donation page. This spans across January 31 through February 12th. On the day of the run, February 12th, students will go outside on the track and participate in the Color Run with their grade level during their specials time.
What are you doing with the money raised?
- Our playground only has 3 swings and as a direct request from students and teachers, we need more swings! If we raise $47,000 we will be able to purchase a commercial grade shade structure with 6 swings, a border, mulch, labor and materials. This has been approved by LHISD and ready to be purchased once we have the funds raised.
- Our playground has two 25' Gaga Ball pits that are not yet installed and currently sitting on dirt and rocks. If we raise $63,000 we will be able to purchase the swings, and also turf, labor, materials to totally fix up our Gaga Ball pits!
- Our literacy library, a resource for all teachers, needs more books! Our Intervention team needs more sets of small group decodables in order to meet the needs of our students.
- Our student library needs more books! Our current "average age" of the books in our library is 4th grade (our building used to be the middle school and when it became an elementary in 2021, we kept some of their books). We need to order more library bound books to lower the age of our library to make it more fit for an elementary.
We have purchase orders for all of these things ready to go, and once we get the funds, PTO will move forward with all of these upgrades. Let's pool our money together and do something for Noble that couldn't be done otherwise. This is our opportunity to make improvements NOW! Let's do this!!
What is the colored powder, is it safe?
The colored powder is food grade colored cornstarch. There will be "color stations" along the track where volunteers toss handfuls of the color powder onto the track. There will be space on the track where there will be less color powder for any sensitivities or preferences.
What should my child wear to school this day?
The colored powder doesn't stain t-shirts (don't wear your favorite one though), but the color does not come out of shoes too easily. Send your child in shoes they can run in and you don't mind getting dirty.

The Rush Coffee Truck
It may be a cold day for a run on 2/12, but no worries because we'll have the Rush coffee truck out on our track ALL DAY for our event! Parents and volunteers are welcome to purchase drinks with a percentage of the day's sales going back to Noble PTO! Ortho 360 also sponsored all the drinks for every LNE staff member to get a free drink from the truck! Thank you Ortho360 and The Rush Coffee Truck for your generosity!
